The armed conflict in Ukraine and the resulting mass influx of Ukrainian citizens into Poland led to the introduction of regulations significantly facilitating the employment of Ukrainian citizens in Poland. However, this does not mean that they can be employed without meeting any requirements.
In the case of Ukrainian citizens, just as with other foreign nationals from third countries, it is necessary to verify the legal basis for their stay and then, if required, submit a notification to the relevant District Labour Office (PUP) within 7 days of the commencement of employment.
Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Poland after 23 February 2022 and declared their intention to remain in Poland are covered by temporary protection, and their stay is considered legal until 4 March 2027. The validity of residence documents held by Ukrainian citizens who arrived in Poland before 24 February 2022 has also been extended until 4 March 2027.

Copies of the necessary documents are kept by the agency throughout your entire period of employment. This is a mandatory requirement and is necessary in case of an inspection by the National Labour Inspectorate (PIP) or the Border Guard.
